Virtual Gun Vault is a free, web-based personal firearms inventory management system. It allows registered users to catalog firearms, accessories, and related items for personal record-keeping purposes.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of the information you enter into the Service
• Ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding firearms ownership, storage, and record-keeping
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Any share links you generate and who you share them with
• All activity that occurs under your account

• Facilitate any illegal activity including illegal firearms transfers or sales
• Store information about firearms you do not legally own or possess
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Upload malicious code, conduct automated scraping, or interfere with the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim any ownership rights over your inventory data.

7. Share Links

The Service allows you to generate shareable links to your inventory items. You are solely responsible for managing these links and who you share them with. We recommend using time-limited links and revoking access when no longer needed. Do not share links containing sensitive information such as serial numbers with untrusted parties.

Virtual Gun Vault is provided as a free personal project on a best-effort basis. We make no guarantees of uptime, availability, or data retention. You are encouraged to maintain your own backups of important records. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe pose a risk to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
