Virtual Gun Vault is a web-based firearms inventory system operated by Erik@Firearmtutorials.com. The service is provided free of charge to registered users in the United States.

• Inventory data — firearms, accessories, photos, serial numbers, and related information you enter
• Usage data — server logs including IP addresses and browser information, retained for security purposes
• Google account data — if you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, email address, and display name

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

• Provide and maintain your inventory account
• Send transactional emails such as account verification and password resets
• Maintain security and prevent abuse

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics services, or any purpose beyond operating the service.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or inventory data with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

• Email delivery — we use Brevo (brevo.com) to send transactional emails. They receive your email address for delivery purposes only
• Google Sign-In — if you use Google to sign in, Google's privacy policy applies to that authentication step
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or valid legal process

5. Share Links

Virtual Gun Vault allows you to generate shareable links to specific items in your inventory. You control exactly what information is visible on each link. Anyone with the link URL can view the shared content — treat these links as you would any sensitive URL. Links can be revoked at any time from your account settings.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data including encrypted HTTPS connections, hashed password storage, and secure session management. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below.

8. Children's Privacy

Virtual Gun Vault is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated.
